2. Concordia Alumni Legacy Grant
The Concordia Alumni Legacy Grant is valued at $500 per year ($2,000 total over four years). The grant is annually available to eligible students. To be eligible, students must have siblings who are current attendees or alumni, or parents/grandparents who are Concordia College, Moorhead alumni. Applicants who meet these criteria must formally inform the college of their legacy connection, this usually marks the beginning of the application process.
3. Presidential Scholarship
The Presidential Scholarship is supported by the National Alumni Board of the school, it stands as Concordia University’s preeminent academic distinction and is endowed at $25,000.
Determination of eligibility for the presidential scholarship at Concordia college relies on high school academic achievement or standardized test results. Prospective candidates meeting the criteria (minimum 3.85 GPA or 30 ACT score) will be extended an invitation upon admission, accompanied by comprehensive information regarding participation requirements and application deadlines.
4. Concordia Alumni Referral Grant
If you are a Concordia College graduate aware of a promising candidate for Cobber status, you can refer them to receive an annual $500 alumni grant—a cumulative value of $2,000 over four years. Each student is however eligible for one referral grant only.
5. STEM Discovery and CLIMB Scholarships
These scholarships are based on financial need and are available to prospective students dedicated to pursuing a career in STEM fields. Eligible candidates must plan to major in one of Concordia College’s approved programs: biology, chemistry, computer science, environmental and sustainability studies (with a focus on natural sciences), mathematics, neuroscience, physics, or pre-engineering.

Submission of scholarship notification forms is required by August 15 to qualify for matching funds for the following academic year.
8. International Scholarship
There are several scholarships available to transfer students of Concordia college. Some of these scholarships are;
8.1. Presidential Scholarship
One transfer student enrolling at Concordia College will be chosen to receive the esteemed $25,000 annual Presidential Scholarship, the highest academic honor at Concordia.
To be eligible, applicants must apply to Concordia and gain admission by March 15. There’s no need for a separate application; eligible students will be invited to partake. Participants will also earn $1,000 to acknowledge their academic accomplishments.
The $25,000 Presidential Scholarship supersedes any other scholarships offered by Concordia College.
Application deadline for Fall 2024 candidates: March 15, 2024.
8.2. Transfer Excellence
This scholarship is open to transfer students and is determined by your college GPA. High school data is necessary for those seeking federal and state assistance and influences scholarship decisions if you’ve completed fewer than 60 college credits.
Applying for admission is all that’s required; no additional application necessary.
Transfer Excellence Award Values:
For transfer students entering in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025: $11,000-$17,000.
9. Talent Scholarships
The talent scholarships in Concordia College recognizes students who participate in events and programs with excellent performance. These programs and events can be sports, arts, music, etc. The scholarship for the various programs and events differ in value and requires a performance submissive in some instances.
